Downdrain 3 remains, however it does not show any signs of active erosion. No corrective
actions are planned as a result of this inventory.
Table 3: Moffat Area Block 2 Erosion Condition Classification

Item Possible
Score
2003
2002
2001
2000
1999
1998
1997
1996
1995
Soil Movement 14 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 3 3
Surface Litter 14 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 3 0
Surface Rock Fragments l4 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 2 0
Pedestalling l4 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Flow Patterns I S 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 6 6
Rills 14 2 2 2 2 3 3 3 6 6
Gullies 15 2 2 2 2 3 3 3 6 3
Total 100 4 4 4 4 6 6 12 26 18
Erosion Condition Classification: Stable Stable Stable Stable Stable Stable Stable Slight Stable
Block 3
' The erosion condition composite SSF score for this site was 6, which placed it in the
Stable erosion class. This area was seeded in the spring of 1995 and resides on a fairly steep
hillside. Vegetation on this block was more spazse than adjoining blocks. However, it was
' seeded later than the adjacent blocks with additional grading, topsoiling and seeding work
performed in 1996. The tabulated results for this survey aze shown in Table 4. No corrective
actions aze planned as a result of this inventory.
^ Table 4: Moffat Area Block 3 Erosion Condition Classification
' Possible
Item Score 2003 2002 2001 2000 1999 1998 1997 1996 1995
Soil Movement 14 0 0 0 0 3 3 3 3 3
Surface Litter l4 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 3
'
Surface Rock Fragments 14 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 2
Pedestalling 14 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
FlowPattems IS 0 0 0 0 0 3 6 6 3
'
Rills l4 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 6 9
Gullies 15 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 6 3
Total 100 6 6 6 6 9 12 IS 21 23
' Erosion Condition Classification: Stable Stable Stable Stable Stable Stable Stable Slight Slight
Block 4
' The erosion condition composite SSF score for this site was 4, which pla ced it in the
Stable erosion class. The tabulated results for this survey are shown in Table 5. The gullies
noted in the survey have stabilized with vegetation establishing on the sides and in the bottoms.
' These features are located in the center section of this block toward the bottom of the hill. No
corrective measures are planned as a result of the inventory.
5
