L.R.B. File No. M-80-224 <br />Dear Mr. Bishoff: <br />Mining at this pit has proceeded as follows for 1985: <br />Reference is made to M. L. R. B. Rules and Regulations, effective July 1978, Sec. <br />2.40, 2. 41. <br />There was approximately three acres disturbed in 1984 and 2 acres in 1985. No <br />new acres were reclaimed due to the small staging area for reclamation. In the <br />summer of 1985, all mined out areas will be reseeded, backfilled, compacted and <br />and sloped per the reclamation plan. Item No. 3 was not applicable due to the <br />small stagng area for reclamation. <br />Item No. 4 on revegetation: efforts were a failure and the current reclaimed areas <br />must be reseeded per the reclamation plan .in the fall of 1985. <br />Item No. 5 is not applicable. Failure that is due to the erosion problem. <br />Approximately 2 acres were affected in 1985.
