Within 24 hours after well completion, the groundwater level stabilized at 10.11 feet bgs <br />in HMMW-02 and at 8.74 feet bgs in HMMW-03. <br />The monitoring wells were constructed of 4-inch diameter SCH 40 PVC casing, and s<:reened <br />from approximately ]0 to 35 feet bgs. Similar to the extraction well, the monitoring well screens <br />consisted of 0.060-inch machine slotted casing. The annular space between the screened <br />sections and the formation was filled with #6-#9 silica sand filter pack supplied by Oglfebay <br />Norton Industrial Sands.
