4.0 SPILL REPORTING, NOT[FiCATION PROCEDURES, and SPILL CO'~TROL <br />• COivIPANIES !MATERIALS SUPPLIERS <br />The primary goal of the SPCC Plan is prevention and containment of spills; ho;vever, in the <br />event that a spill occurs and it threatens to impact the waters of the State of (~o]orado, the <br />following procedures will be followed by the management, operating, and/or security personnel <br />on duty. <br />4.1 Spill contairtment and control procedures, as ou[lined in Section ~ of this Plata, will be the <br />first action implemented to mitigate or minimize impact. Note the date, time, e:;act location, <br />material(s) spilled, estimated quantity, control measures used, names of worker_ involved in <br />clean-up. and action needed to prevent reoccurrence. See Appendix 1 for a ";pill Incident <br />Report" form. <br />4.2 As soon as practical after control steps have been taken, personnel should be notified with <br />the information noted in (1) above (i.e., date. time. material spilled. quantity, control methods, <br />personnel. action to prevent reoccurrence, etc.). The attached contact sheet lists key personnel <br />that may be contacted in the event of a spill. <br />4.3. The Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for the followin; additional <br />notifications. In the absence of the Environmental Coordinator it will be necessary for initiative <br />to be taken by one of the other listed persons and notifications should proceed cs follows: <br />• Important Note: Under Section ILA.3.b of the Stormwater Permit for the Henderson Mill PC3 <br />Construction, the spill must be orally reported to the Emergency Response Unit. Office of the <br />Environment within 24 hours of becoming awaze of the incident. Significant spill:> and certain <br />materials spills may require immediate notification.
