Mill Control, All ~.^pl]yB_5. <br />HENDERSON MILL EME~iGENCY PROCEDURES <br />1n an emergency situation at the mill site when: <br />1) a mill site building should be evacuated; <br />2) or the MERT team should be caked out; <br />use the Gaitronics to notify Mill Control. Identity yourself and report where ar,d what the <br />emergency is. Advise as to what action should be taken, i.e., evacuate, summon MERT team, <br />etc. If you can't contact Mill Control, notiry your supervisor. <br />Mill Cant..*ol will sound the zporopriate alarm as follows: <br /> <br />• The MERT T~AiLI CALLOUT ALARM is a 1 E second sustainer poise signal over the <br />Gaitronics system rcllcwed by ar, announcement 2dVI5InC ',vrere and what the <br />emergency is. Employees are to evacuate the announced area_nc stay clear until the <br />area is released by the MERT cape=_in. The sustziner poise sicnzl is not raactivat=d <br />if the situation ices not require a general evacuation. <br />• The GENERAL -V4CUAT10N ALA.nM is a 15 second sustainer culse sicnai aver the <br />Gaitronics system followed by an announcement advisinc w;~~re and what the <br />emergency is and instructing all personnel to evacuate. ine Gaitronics is then <br />returned to continuous sustained pulse. <br />• Upon hearing a continuous, suss_ined pulse sicnal, all employees shall evacuate to <br />the asser^.bly area that provides them with the best route to avoid the problem area <br />and any associated hazards. If an alarm announcement is not clearly heard and <br />understood, or if you feel you are being exposed to a hazard, yon era authorized to <br />EVACUATE. When arriving at the assembly area, employees are to repot to their <br />supervisor or in the supervisors absence, the area coordinator. <br />• The assembly areas are: <br />i) The Main Mill Forking Lot <br />2) Mobile Equipment Shop <br />3) Crusher Tcc Floor <br />4) Tailing Fond Area (Personnel -Stay below) <br /> <br />Sta y clear or the area on the north side of the mil/building during ;rll reagent alarms <br />and genera! evacuations. <br />
