V. DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES <br />Current decontamination procedures are outlined in the "Henderson <br />Electrical Emergency and Maintenance Procedures" manual (copy kept <br />at the mill electrical shop), Section 0-7-9013P. They are updated as <br />new techniques and/or new EPA regulations become available. <br />Personnel handling PCBs at the mine and mill have been properly <br />trained and equipped to handle all PCB decontamination, tran:~fer and <br />transportation. <br />VI. STORAGE <br />PCB liquids and solids, from the mill, designated for disposal are: stored <br />in the the Flammable Materials /Hazardous Waste Storage Building <br />(Figure 2). This building complies with all EPA regulations. <br />VII. RECORDS <br />All applicable EPA regulations for records are followed. The records for <br />PCB liquids in service, as well as records for PCB liquids an~j solids <br />awaiting disposal, are available from the Operations Departmem:. <br />• VIII. RISK REDUCTION <br />A Risk Reduction Plan has been established. The goal of this plan is to <br />reduce the risk associated with a large PCB spill or fire through the <br />elimination of large quantities of PCB fluid, as found in large <br />transformers. A PCB analysis has been performed to identify and <br />prioritize areas of greatest risk. <br />r1 <br />
