No backfilling, grading, topsoil replacement, or revegetation occurred during 2006. There was no
change during 2006 in affected acres, and no reclamation of previously disturbed areas occurred.
Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) demolished and removed the old CYCC Office Building during
2006, and will complete reclamation of the associated disturbance area when the area is no longer
needed in conjunction with ongoing mining-related activities (currently being used as a training area
for Mine-Rescue Teams and a staging azea for contractor construction activities associated with
reconstruction of Routt County Road 27). There aze several areas on the attached "2006 Annual
Reclamation Report Disturbed Acreage" summary that aze identified as "Reclaimed". These areas
have previously been regraded and stabilized with vegetation, however, TCC has not pursued bond
release for these aeeas due to the potential for re-disturbance in conjunction with required access and
site maintenance activities. During 2006, TCC completed noxious weed control spraying for both
active and bond-released areas, consistent with the approved Noxious Weed Control Plan (MR06-206),
and conducted managed livestock grazing activities on the bond-released aeeas.
Permit approvals during 2006 resulted in an increase in the calculated reclamation liability and surety
coverage of $393,108, to a total of $7,279,611, at year-end, summarized as follows:
TROS-53, Truck Loadout (+$140,932)
TR06-55, West Haulroad (+$124,460)
TR06-56, 6MN Road Relief Culverts (+$1,080)
MR06-205, Pumphouse Addition (+$4,017)
MR06-207, Electro-Coagulation System (+$5,738)
MR06-210, 6MN Million-Gallon Tank (+$81,486)
MR06-211, Coal Fines Clean-up (+$6,591)
MR06-212, 6MN Rock-Dust Tank and Compressor (+$28,804)
Attached aze copies of the standazd form (CDRMS) Annual Reclamation Report for 2006.
