ANNUAL REPORT
Feb. 23, 2006
Operator: United Companies of Mesa County
Operation: River Road PiY
File Number: M-1991-136
Anniversary Date: February 25, 2006
The main pit is mined out. It serves as the main office and shop location for United.
This location has facilities for asphalt and redi-mix production, sand and gravel crushing,
processing, and stockpiling. This location will be active for many more years serving all
the functions mentioned above. United has improved the drainage in a problem area by
installation of a drop inlet and a length of PVC pipe that empties into the pit dewatering
trench.
Weed management continues on a twice a year basis. We may get a bum permit to use
along the south side of the property later on next month. The enclosed sketch is
unchanged from last year. Stockpiles are in the same locations. Stockpile size is
constantly changing as redi-mix and asphalt production draw from the piles.
Sincerely,
~3~ ~, ~~
Brent W. Kerr
Resource Manager
