This pit HAS NOT been granted a <br /> Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this <br /> year. Please refer to the Annual Report Map for the location of <br /> areas discussed in this report. The Financial Warranty for this <br /> operation is $20, 500; the permitted area is 46. 08 ac. ± and the <br /> reclamation plan has 3 mining and reclamation phases. A sign that <br /> conforms with rule 6.7 Signs and Markers is installed at the entrance <br /> to the pit and a storm water management plan is in-place for this <br /> operation. <br /> This information will comply with Section 2 . 4 . 1 of the Rules <br /> and Regulations. <br /> 2.4. 1 <br /> (1) Mining continued in Stage 1 this year partially removing 1. 23 ac. <br /> ±, to date we have a total of 5. 67 ac. ± partially mined (brown) . <br /> We have stripped an additional 2 . 66 acres ± on the west side of <br /> Stage 1 preparing to mine in that direction this year. We are <br /> using 4 . 54 acres ± of the Shop Area in Stage 2 (yellow) as a stock- <br /> pile area, asphalt plant and concrete plant areas and for equipment <br /> storage. The processing equipment is located in Stage 1 at the <br /> base of the mine face. The river protection berm along the north <br /> side of Stages 1 & 2 is complete where there is a chance the river <br /> could be affected. We will continue to extend the berms as mining <br /> progresses. These berms are topsoil stockpiles and are shown on ��, <br /> the map (green) . The total area disturbed to date remains <br /> unchanged from last year at 12 . 87 acres ±. <br />
