(BMRI) - San Luis
DMG Permit No. M-88-112
Bi-Weekly Water Sample Report
March 30-31, 1993 Sampling Event
Dear Mr. Oehler:
Enclosed are the analytical reports from Core Laboratories
for the bi-weekly water samples collected on
March 30-31, 1993 as specified in the April 1992 AbatCement
Plan. The final analytical reports from Core Labs wire
received at the San Luis mine on May 20, 1993. The Cross-
reference table between sample identification numbers and
sample locations is attached. As specified in TR-006,
calculated free and wad cyanide values for the process point
samples are enclosed.
No deviations from the sampling QA/QC protocols, TR-006,
were noted for any of the samples collected. However, it
should be noted that approximately four inches of ice was
chipped from the surface of the RS-5 sampling location
before flowing water was reached. The sediments in the
stream bed were disturbed during ice removal. The stream
bed was given time (approximately 15 minutes) to settle, and
the flowing water was allowed to visibly clear. We11s M-9,
M-12, and M-13, the five process points, and RS-5 we>`e
sampled. Wells M-2, M-6, M-7, and M-8 and the three
lysimeter pairs were checked and found to be dry. A barrel
filter rinse blank, a field blank, and an upper pond
duplicate were taken as field quality control samples.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
-'~fQ.r~a ~ JCo-~
Alana L.
