Water level data for the period of record shown on Figure <br />6-10 indicates localized dewatering effects on the A-Groove and B-Groove aquifers. However, in 2003 a significant decrease in water level <br />was noted. This decrease in water level was the beneficial aspect of balancing recovery <br />injection mining. <br />NSI was able to keep all water levels within target range per the BLM and EPA guidelines. <br />Although the water level change at the up-dip site was less in 1993-1994 than the down-dip <br />Dissolution Surface well, the response was greater in 1995 and 1996 when significant <br />57 <br />
