Disturbed acreage approved under DMG permit remained at 73 acres with a total of 71.9 acres <br />disturbed through 2003. <br />5.2.2 Topsoil Storage <br />A total of 410 cubic yards of topsoil was removed for wells 2M-TDR and 3M-TDR. Topsoil (410 <br />cubic yards) was distributed back onto 2M and 3M-TDR pads. At year end the topsoil <br />stockpiled was approximately 77,125 cubic yards. <br />5.3 Reclamation Activity <br />5.3.1 Seedin <br />Approximately 0.5 acres (wells 2M and 3M-TDR), of disturbed area were broadcast seeded <br />(double the drilled rate) with seed mixture approved by the BLM and DMG, see Table 5-2. <br />• Figure 5-1 illustrates year-end 2003 status of disturbed, reclaimed areas and planned disturbed <br />areas for 2004. <br />5.3.2 Mulching <br />No acreage was hydromulched in 2003. An additional 0.5 acres are planned to be mulched in <br />2004. <br />5.3.3 Reclamation Fencing <br />A fence was constructed around the mud pit at 2M and 3M-TDR wells in 2003 and was removed <br />in the fall prior to seeding. Repairs and maintenance was performed to all existing fences. <br />Fencing is utilized to protect reGamation during establishment and to keep livestock out of the <br />mud pits. <br />22 <br />
