11
- The analytical and the QA/QC results for caanide indicate that it was
worthwhile to collect both filtered and unfiltered samples at the process point
locations. Problems with the analytical methods for total and WAD cyanide
were pointed out in part because of discrepancies between results for filtered
and unfiltered samples.
- As recommended in the last third-party monitoring summary report, a more
consistent and detailed study of interferences should be conducted by an
analytical laboratory. Given the long turnaround times and the problems with
reanalyses and results in the QA/QC reports, it is difficult to recommend Core
Laboratories for this interference study. Another laboratory should be
identified for this study and possible for use as the main analytical laboratory.
RCG/Hagler, Badly, Ipc
