Exhibit #4 is the drip irrigation system plan for the
benches. This system concentrates water at the base of the
plantings where it is needed.
Exhibit #5 contains hotographs of the various stages of
this program as of July 14, 1881.
This program was undertaken in June 1981. To July 14, the
irrigation system is in place, but not fully functional. The
top bench is planted and the other benches are being prepared
for planting. All maintenance accesses have been provided.
The planting program will continue through July and into August.
After completion of the plantings, another seeding of the benches
will take place to complete seeding of the entire area. The en-
tire program should be in place by mid-August, 1881. As stated
earlier, the maintenance program runs for a full two years with
a guaranteed success rate of the plants at 85%.
The Mined Land Reclamation Board will be fully apprised of
the success of this program in our next annual report.
-7-
