During the period second mining of the main entries to the South was completed and the entries sealed. A new approach to the South was started. Three entries are being driven to attempt to avoid the split seam encount- ered in development of the originally planned mains. Very little water has been encountered in the new entries to date. Water pumped from the mine has been reduced considerably. Discharge from the mine is being monitored in accordance with the require- ments of Stipulation Nos. 1 an 2 and the NPDES permit. Copies of discharge logs, sample logs, NPDES reports, and Mine Maps are enclosed.
