T-4518 83
4. Northeast-trending tensional cross-structures developed between east-trending
left-lateral shear zone boundaries and were filled by hydmthermal fluids.
5. The central portions of the northeast-trending structures rotated counter-clockwise
while the ends of the structures continued to propagate to the northeast, making
the structures sigmoidal.
6. East-trending structures developed at the left-lateral shear zone boundaries anti the
northeast-trending structures ceased to propagate.
7. With continued left-lateral differential movement on the east-trending structurt:s,
blocks between the northeast-trending structures rotated as dominoes with rigltt-
lateral offsets.
8. Fine-grained quartz-pyrite was deposited.
9. The northeasterly compression (and, possibly, movement on the AP-JR fault)
ceased and domino-style rotation ended..
10. Coarse-grained quartz-pyrite was deposited and MSPC alteration was developed.
11. Hematite was deposited and adularia alteration was developed.
12. Carbonate minerals were deposited and carbonate alteration was developed.
13. Base- and precious-metal minerals were deposited and adularia and ankerite were
added to MSPC alteration.
14. Sulfosalt stage minerals were deposited.
15. Faulting occurred, tectonizing and brecciating portions of sulfide veins.
16. Dolomite was deposited and smectite-kaolinite alteration was
developed.
17. Erosion to the present level occurred and supergene changes began.
~1
