<br />T-4518 <br />72 <br />Chalwpyrite is locally replaced by bornite (Fig. 44c). Fine-gtained (<5 µm) native sulfur <br />occurs on and in tectonized sulfide surfaces and in fine-grained quartz. <br />Native silver (Fig. 45a) is fairly common and occurs primarily as lazge, irregulaz <br />masses with a sieve texture and as wires. Native gold is uncommon. Grains tend to be <br />irregulaz in shape, lazger than hypogene electrum grains, and occur with supergene <br />aciculaz gcethite and remnant pyrite grains (Fig. 45b). Gcethite; with less abundant <br />lepidocrocite, replaces all minerals with the exception of quartz. <br />
