No extraction occurred in the past year. A release request for the Amendment 1 and
Amendment 2 areas of the permit was approved in 2003, returning the permit to its
original configuration. Vegetation along the shoreline of the Area B pond within the
original permit azea is well established. Two basins over the Northeast portion of the
permit area are now backfilled. No augmentation water is presently needed over the site
as the remaining pre-law water is affirmed by physical survey to be within stated surface
area limits. Bacltf'illing, grading, soiling and seeding is complete over the affected lands,
and for all intents and purposes, the site is neazing a condition suitable for release of the
majority, if not the entire, financial warranty. While some residual extraction may be
necessary, it is not anticipated, therefore, any extraction over the next year within the
Original permit azea will be reported in the next annual report.
