Bromley Pit, MLR File 79-165 (x~1~1~/ Fed Tax ID # Anniversary Date: October 25, 2001 Please refer to the Annual Report Map attached for the locations of areas discussed in this report. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The Financial Warranty is $29,300, the permitted area is 14.20 ± and the pit is not Phased. A sign that conforms with rule 6.7 Signs and Markers is installed at the en- trance to the pit. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report requirements as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regula- tions, and in the annual notice letter. (1) Mining was completed on the 1.44 ± parcel west of the rail- road was partially mined this year (brown). (2) We have continued to fill part of the pit with clean fill consisting of concrete, old asphalt and dirt (/////) as approved. Reclamation has been successful and the trees planted along the east line have done very well. The top- soil stockpile has not been disturbed this year. (3) No additional lands will be disturbed after mining is com- plete. (4) We will continue to backfill the areas partially filled to date. We will revise the final reclamation plan and ask for release of the permit once mining ends, because the current land use designation changes the site plan from grassed area to industrial/ commercial uses. The concrete batch plant area will continue to be used (purple).
