We have not mined any material from the pit since October, 2005.
We have been in the process of reclamation since that time. We seeded atl slopes in July,
2006, and it has rained continuously since then. In August, 2006 we received a flash
flood, in which the Bridal Veil Creek channel on the USFS property up stream from us left
the channel, and flooded out our reclaimed banks. We repaired most damage and seeded
the banks again.
We have yet to finish reps:g the rest of the damage, and clean the sediment pond. It has
rained or snowed continuously since July, and the pond is too muddy to enter with the
equipment to finish the cleaning which we desire.
As soon as the ground dries up, we will clean the pond and repair the slopes on 2 banks,
and reclamation will be complete.
