The field sampling in both years was conducted by
ESCO Associates, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado. Dr. David
Buckner was the principal investigator for the field studies
in both years. The final reports were prepared by Dr.
Buckner and Vern Pfannenstiel from Peabody's Western
Division office in Flagstaff. The 1988 monitoring report
contains the first year's data and animal stocking history
for the alfalfa management and control pasture (identified
as Area B, Wadge grazing pasture in the report).
At this time, the 1989 Annual Revegetation Monitoring Report
for the Seneca II Mine is in draft format and will be
submitted in the near future. Data and animal stocking
history for the alfalfa management and control pasture will
be included in the 1989 annual report.
Any questions concerning the 1987 or 1988 Annual
Revegetation Monitoring Reports should be directed to Vern
Pfannenstiel in Peabody's Flagstaff office.
Sincerely,
Brian P.
