Apparently the downhole pump is inoperable. The water
level is at 30' though, so water could possibly be taken from the well with a bailer. Is this sufficient for
testing?[Walker, Byron] Yes. The well needs to be evacuated, and the sample taken after the well refills
(see page 4.6-145 of the PAP). If not, are we under a time limit to reinstate testing from this well or a
replacement?[Walker, Byron] If you choose to take samples from a new well, it would have to be
developed for sampling during the third quarter (see page 4.6-148 of the PAP).
As far as revisions go, when one is being considered by the division, can another be 1§led with the division
for consideration prior to a decision on the previous submittal?[Walker, Byron] Yes, a number of revisions
can be processed at the same time; but as we discussed, revisions that address the same subject, or
subjects on the same page, are sensitive to levels of authority (technical revisions anti minor revisions).
Thanks,
Pat
[Walker, Byron] Please call me if you have any questions.
Yours truly,
Byron G.
