Long <br />CC: David Berry Drvieun Dheaur <br />RE: 1994 Annual Hydrology Report, Annual Subsidence Report, Annual <br />Mine Inflow Report, Bowie No. 1 Mine, #C-81-038 <br />As per your request, I reviewed the 1994 Annual Hydrology Report, <br />Annual Subsidence Report, and Annual Mine Inflow Report for the <br />Bowie No. 1 Mine. My questions or comments are as follows: <br />Annual Hvdroloav Report <br />General Comments <br />1. Overall, the report is very well organized and the manner <br />in which the data was presented made review relatively <br />easy and convenient. I do believe, however, that the <br />operator should report a summary of statistics for each <br />site for the entire period of record, including minimums, <br />maximums, mean values and standard deviations. Please <br />request that the operator include this information in the <br />1995 report. <br />Monitorina Frequency <br />1. Compared to the last two years of monitoring, the <br />operator made a substantial improvement in meeting the <br />required monitoring frequency. The following omissions <br />were noted: <br />site omission <br />MWO1 March temp., EC <br />MW03 same as above <br />SM10 field EC, hardness <br />SM11 same as above <br />SMO1 Hardness <br />SM09 Hardness <br />
