The Lower Deep Creek data logger was not damaged and the monitoring
data was not interrupted. However, the Upper Deep Creek data logger was taken out of the protective box,
the battery drained, and the monitoring data is missing from June 11, 2004 through November 1 I, 2004.
HydroGeo technicians replaced the Upper Deep Creek battery on November I I, 2004 and it appeared to be
in good working order.
