Past records show that the annual date for the pit is May 24 of each year.
The financial warranty for the permit is $20,500 and the total permit area is 46.08
acres. The mining and reclamation plan has three phases.
The following information is provided to comply with Rule 2.4.1:
(1) Approximately 2.24 acres of new disturbance occurred in the past year in the south
central part of the permit area as shown on the enclosed annual report map. Topsoil
was removed from all of this area and the material was stockpiled along the southern
border of the affected area. Of the total new disturbance of 2.24 acres, 1.37 acres was
partially mined.
(2) No reclamation could be done in the past year since mining continued on the
western edge of the property. As soon as this area is completely mined, the area will be
reclaimed.
(3) For the upcoming year, mining will continue on the partially mined area on the
western side of the property and in the newly disturbed area as shown on the map.
