This report is for the 1995 calendar
year.
The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine was reclaimed during 1994. Until the
mine was reclaimed, eight wells were monitored {LO-1, OW-3L, OW-7,
OW-8, OW-12, OW-13, OW-14 & OW-15). The groundwater monitoring
wells were reclaimed late in 1994 or early in 1995. No groundwater
monitoring was performed or required during 1995 (reference table
4.6-1 page 4-85).
There was no discharge from the sediment pond during 1995.
The Operator planned to water the vegetated areas during 1995 to
promote plant growth. However, this watering was not performed
because of an unusually wet spring. There was no consumptive use
of water during the year at the mine site.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
J/ im SStov~ E.
Consulting Engineer
