The accompanying map shows the area mined in 2003 and the area of projected activity in
2004. No reclamation was done on the mined area as most of that area is being used for the
crusher operations and material stockpiles occupy the areas mined earlier.
Ellison Pit is one of several operated by Delta County and is mined as needed for county projects
or gravel reserves. Della County crushes and processes [he gavel in each of its pits with a portable
croshing plant. The portable crusher is currently crushing in Ellison Pit a[ the time of [his report. There
is no reclamation projected for 2004.
