1
'
Asa minimum, we anticipate multiple level piezometers at
6 to 7 locations as follows:
1.) Starting on the first slope bench (elev. 4880) in
the area of existing well P-1, a drill hole should
be advanced to the bedrock or well into the
' alluvium with multiple piezometers installed based
on the information obtained from the drill logs.
The second piezometer drill hole should be
' positioned just above PZ P-1 on the second slope
bench (elev. 4910) and again advanced to or near
bedrock with the multiple piezometer tips
' positioned according to dill log information and
the results of measurements obtained from the first
multi-tipped piezometer installation.
'
2.) The first of the second series of piezometers
should be installed on the first slope bench in the
vicinity of existing PZ B1-1 or between B1-1 and
' P1-a, advanced to or near bedrock with multiple
tipped piezometers installed according to the drill
log information. The second croup of piezometers
' in this series should be installed on the second
slope bench just above the location of the first
(new) piezometer near PZ B2-4 or between B2-4 and
B2-1. This hole should also be advanced to or near
t bedrock with the multiple PZ tips set according to
drill log information and findings from previous
' installations.
3.) The first of the third series of piezometers should
be installed on the first slope bench near existing
' PZ P-2 or between P-2 and P-3. Again, advanced to
or near the bedrock with the tips set according to
the loos and previously gathered information. The
second hole for this series should be positioned on
' the second bench directly above the first (new)
piezometer. Installation should be similar to that
' noted above.
4.) The last piezometer should be installed after
initial measurements from the other multi-tipped
' piezometers have been evaluated. Sts installation
would be to verify/refine the data or to help
define the extent of a certain problematic zone
should such a zone become evident. If the
' conditions are well defined by the first 6
piezometers, the 7th installation will not be
needed.

' 19
