<br />i~ <br /> <br />These are high - 1?00 mg/1 or greater -but they occur before irrigation season. Later in the season, <br />virtually independent of streamflow volume, the TDS diminishes to 5~0 mg/l or less. This is a very <br />interesting effect. The "Flushing" effect during the spring snowmelt seems to even outweigh the <br />effect of dilution from higher instream flows. This is seen with high TDS in the spring when the <br />stream flow is higher than later in the summer. So spoil spring contribution apparently reaches a <br />maximum at the same time as run-off.
