',~,~ <br />Western Atlas <br />International <br />..m,.,a..~.. ~..~,~, <br />CORE LABORATORIES <br />Sample Delivery Group Narrative <br />February 1, 1993 <br />Customer: Battle fountain <br />Project: 5284 San Luis <br />Core Laboratories Project <br />Gold <br />Number: 922303 <br />On December 27, 1992 Core Laboratories-Aurora received a set of <br />samples from Battle Mountain Gold that was to be analyzed for <br />radionuclides, total and dissolved metals, and inorgahic parameters. <br />The sample was collected by representatives of Halepaffika and <br />Associates for Battle Mountain Gold on December 21, 28, 1992. <br />The following information is pertinent to the interpretation of this <br />data package. <br />The sulfuric acid preserved bottle (sample 921221 BMG04) that was <br />designated for analysis of NH3, TOC, and No3 +NO2 was broken and all <br />remaining sample was lost. This was due to circumstanoes beyond our <br />control relating to Core Laboratories move to our new facility. At <br />the time the accident occurred, only the NH3 analysis had not been <br />completed. Immediate corrective action steps were takein to ensure <br />that this problem will not re-occur in the future. The. parameter <br />that was not completed and designated for that particuilarly <br />preserved sample was marked with an "X" on the final report. <br />Timothy L. Kellogg / / Linda L.
