A coDY of this amendment has been <br />provided to the CDMG. <br />Permit Revision 1 went into effect on November 26, 1999. This revision <br />permitted mining in the Sage Creek basin. Several changes were made to the <br />]~'drologic monitoring program. Those changes are noted in Tab 15, page 21, of <br />the PAP. <br />After their review of lest year's Yoast AHR, the CDMG made several comments is <br />letter dated February 28, 2000. No response by SCC was aeeeeeary. <br />Meteorological Dnta <br />No meteorological data is collected et the Yoaet Mine. SCC maintains a weather <br />station (wind speed and direction, temperature and precipitation) at its <br />ediacent Seneca II-9i Miaa. The reader ie referred to that AHR, ADyeadix B. SCC • <br />also maintains a precipitation gage at its adjacent Seneca II Nine. Data for <br />this year are included oa Table 1. A evaary of all data collected at that <br />station ie provided here is Table 2. <br />Data from the National Climatic Data Ceatar for the Baydea Station was used to <br />evaluate the precipitation trend. For this year, 17.05 inches of precipitation <br />was measured, which was 0.21 inches (1`IC) greater than the 1961-1990 average. <br />All months but October, November, May, June, sad July were above average. <br />6nowpack runoff, ee estimated by totaling November through April precipitation <br />values, was 10.19 inches, which wee 1.78 inches (21~) above the 1961-1990 <br />average. <br />The Seneca II precipitation gage measured 16.95 iachee this year. This value is <br />2.35 iachee (12'k) less then the 1981-2000 average. Saowpack runoff, estimated <br />using the Seneca II precipitation gage, was 8.91 inches (November-April total), <br />which ie 0.74 iachee (89t) leas than the Seneca ZI 1981-2000 average.
