• Surface Nester
Stream monitoring occurs on Sage Creek at Sites YSSF3 and YSS2, sad oa Grassy
Creek nt Sites YSGFS and YSGS. These surface water sites are monitored monthly
(March to October) for flow and field parameters (pH, temperature, and
electrical conductivity IEC]). NPDES Discharge point 012 is monitored weekly
for flow and pH. All three NPDES sites are monitored monthly for NPDES
parameters sad fielfl parameters. Monitoring frequency changes for 010 and 011
weal into ef£act on September 1, 1999 (see •Introductioa"). 6amplee obtained at
these stream and NPDES sites are analyzed for the surface water parameter list,
Table 7, during April, May or June, and September. Spring sites are monitored
is the spring and £all seasons. A summary o£ eurfece water sites ie providefl in
Table B. The current surface water and epriag monitoring program ie presented
is Table 15-9 of the Yoaet Mine PAP.
All eurfece water data collected during this reporting period are provided in
Appendix D. Data provided for stream and NPDES sites era a flow hydrograyh, a
• water quality report, aafl remarks (if present). After the water quality report
is a stntietic^ report reDreeeatiag baseline (i.e., Dremiaing) data for each
site downstream of mining (whoa available). Oa this etstietics report,
"censored Qata" refers to analytical values that ware below the detection limit,
which were ceaaored from the min/max/mesa calculations. The time frame for
baseline conditions ie listed under •eoaditione epacifiad° at the bottom of each
page. Also iaeluded are TDS plots using the LONE88 method and
TD9/millisquivelent tables (sea preceding Ground water Quality section). Date
for epriag vitae (YSPG aeries) included n water quality report, a listing of
historic flow values, electrical conductivity (SC) LOf783S plots, sad
TDS/milliequivaleat tables.
Sege Creek
- Site Y98F3. This site axiata oa Sage Creek upstream of ell potential Yoast
Mine discharges. Ile flow hydrograph indicates the lowest peak flow since 199
occurrefl this year.
•
9
