This pit refilled the mined <br />area with new rock as it did last year. It was not necessary <br />to mine in Stages 2 and 3 this year. <br />We will continue to mine in Stage 1 this year if runoff <br />subsides. <br />No reclamation was required this year at Pit #3. Reclamation <br />will be required only after the last mining year or when Stage <br />3 is mined. We have no way to estimate when the last mining year <br />will be. We will continue to mine as long as the demand for <br />sand and gravel exists or until the river fails to refill the <br />mine. <br />A check to cover the annual fee of $50.00 is attached. <br />Please sign below to indicate your receipt of this intent to <br />continue and the annual fee and return one copy of the signed <br />letter to us. <br />S' cerely, <br />~~~.~~ <br />Jack R.
