YVCC shares your concern, but as the
information presented on Table A demonstrates the quality of the EC field
data has improved significantly since the purchase of the new meter. The
summary presented on your table 1 looked at the entire 1986 data, which does
not take into account the improved quality once the new meter was obtained.
YVCC is confident the EC field data quality will remain in an acceptable
range.
Table A. The program includes more frequent calibration of the
meter. I believe these measures should maintain a high degree of accuracy
in our monitoring program.
If you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
%laGZt~/ ~%~Gf/'cc.
Richard Milis
Senior Environmental Engineer
RAM/de
