5.2.2 Topsoil Storage <br />No additional topsoil was removed or stockpiled. As reported for 1990, 42,107 <br />cu. yds. of topsoil remains in stockpile for future reclamation. <br />5.3 Reclamation Activity <br />5.3.1 eedin <br />Laydown areas and monitoring wells were seeded October -November, 1991. <br />Areas seeded include: <br />res <br />Laydown area north of process facility and south of topsoil 1.2 <br />Monitoring wells at Na26-EX-2 site (former laydown areal 0.8 <br />Monitoring wells at Na26-IRI-1 site 0.2 <br />• Monitoring wells at Maxi-pad near Na26-IRI-4 site 0.3 <br />Livestock watering pipeline 0.5 <br />5.3.2 Seed Mixture <br />The approved (BLM/Colorado Mine Land Reclamation) seed mixture was broadcast <br />at a rate (23.9 Ibs/acre) double the drilled rate per the mine plan. Pure live seed <br />was the basis for calculation of seed rate. Table 5-2 lists species seeded. <br />5.3.3 Mulching <br />No mulching was performed in 1991. Project disturbed areas which were seeded <br />in 1991, total of 2.5 acres, will be hydromulched in March or April of 1992 prior <br />to seed germination.
