In addition, the slope surrounding the <br />northern extent of the bench appears stable for construction. <br />3. ~ Drainage C <br />~n unnamed drainage. referred to as Drainage C in Figure 1.0, extends <br />southwest from the nuaer cabin. The first 1,500 feet of Drainage C contains <br />hummocky terrain and old landslide features along the northwestern side. <br />:',lon; this same stretch, however, a 400 feet area in the center of the gulch <br />appears stable for construction. Drainage must be controlled to accommodate <br />building acti~-ity nzthin this area. <br />Several hundred feet farther up Drainage C the road snakes a sharp <br />switch back in the vicinity of ~~'ell SOM-S0. This area is thick with aspen and <br />several _=prangs are risible, one being adjacent to SO?\~I-S0. Groundwater is <br />probably quite shallow in this area. An unnamed drainage, referred to as <br />Drainage D in Figure 1.0, apparently provide the groundwater recharge for <br />this area. <br />Southwest of SO1•I-S0, along the nest 1,000 feet of Drainage C, all of the <br />northwest slope is hummocky, vrith evidence of old landslides above the <br /> <br />
