In the event that the permitee wishes to remediate an inactive mine site and terminate <br />.. permit coverage, prior to remediation activities, the SWMP must be amended to include the following <br />items, and the permitree must notify the Division ojihe change in status. <br />e. Coordination. and Format <br />Some octivities required under the SWMP may already be in place. However, the SWMP wit/require the <br />permitree to coordinate Jhese activities with any necessary new activities in an orderly manner, so that the <br />result is the reduction or elimination ofpoflutanu reaching state waters from areas not limited by numeric <br />effluent Ifmitations. <br />h is thepermittee's responsibility to notes the ColoradoDivision ofMinerals and Geology (GONG) ojany <br />changes attheirsiteresul~ingfromtheimplementationoftheSWMP. ThicnonficationallowstheCDMGto <br />review the SWMP and incorporate any potential revisions which might be needed into the facility's <br />.reclamation permit. It is important to ve~~ that the site reclamation permit matches the SWMP. Such <br />information is usually;contained in Ezhibit G of I JO reclamation permits. <br />_~„,. <br />The SYY7vIP may rely upon informarion developed for other similar pot luticn control programs such as the <br />SPCC (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures) plan, Voluntary Cleanup Plan, or the Mined Land <br />Reclamah'on Plan. Appropriate portions of these other plans may be incorporated in the SW <br />reference, as long as a complete SWMP can be reproduced and submitted to the requesting agen <br />the period spec;ied in the request. Those portions ojthe referenced documents must be includ e <br />submittal. The SWMP must also be readily available to an on-site inspector. <br />C. Comprehensive Facility Inspections: The permitree shall make a thorough inspection of their stormwater <br />management system, at least twice per year (in The spring and fall). These inspections must be documented and <br /> <br />
