SMITH DRAINAGE, COAL GULCH, <br />• <br />AND NORTH FORK GUNNISON ALLUVIUM <br />SMITH DRAINAGE <br />There is one surface water monitoring station on Smith Drainage <br />(SW-7). There was no flow recorded during the quarterly monitoring <br />periods in 1991 and therefore no water quality samples were <br />collected. <br />COAL GULCH <br />There is one surface water monitoring station on Coal Gulch (SW-8). <br />• As in the previous few years, no flow was observed during the <br />quarterly monitoring periods in 1991. Historic data for the <br />station is presented in Figure 45 and Table 101. There are also <br />four ponds in Coal Gulch that are monitored. Pond 17-1 has been <br />breached and no flow was observed at any time from the other three <br />ponds in 1991. <br />NORTH FORK GUNNISON ALLUVIUM <br />There are three wells completed in the North Fork Gunnison alluvium <br />in the vicinity of the train loadout facility. Plots of the water <br />levels are presented in Figure 46. Water quality is not monitored <br />• at these wells.
