Theu are very good; complete and
descriptive for a1Z areas. A11 of the reports satisfy the requirements of
the law and the following comments are for clarification and informational
purposes only.
Portland Limestone: We are pleased that concurrent reclamation is being
conducted wherever possible. We would be interested in the results of using
the soil imprinter. On a mine site in Utah, the use of a "v" shaped soil
imprinter actually accelerated water erosion on the steeper slopes (loamy
soils).
Boettcher Gypsum: Bond is now $38,000.00, with maximum affected acreage of
40 acres.
Slab Canyon Limestone: Bond is Hord $21,500.00, with maximum affected acreage
of 30 acres.
Boettcher Limestone: The ct7rrent $317,000.00 bond is adequate to cover the
19 acre increase in affected acreage. As the weathered E-band areas did not
have salvageable overburden, what type of growth medium will be used on
these areas for revegetation purposes?
