March 2004 Kerr Caal Comparry * 2003 Anxna! Hydrolop Report * CO Permit Na. C-80-006 ~ PaRe 10
5.0 LOADOUT AREA ALLUVIAL GROUNDWATER
Two alluvial wells (AP-1 and AP-2) were monitored for field measurements on a monthly basis from
March through October. In March and April, only water level measurements were taken due to the
frozen condition of the wells. The field data collected ate presented in Appendix A, 2003 Field Data.
Figure 3, Alluvial Aguifer Water Levee, shows groundwater levels measured during sampling events
over the past seven years. Water quality samples were collected and analyzed on a quarterly basis, in
May, July, and October- As of January 1999, the parameter list for alluvial well sample analysis was
reduced to include orily major elements and no trace metals. This data has been summarized and is
presented in Table 1, 2003 Groundwater Quality Statistic. The individual laboratory analyses are
presented in Appendix C, 2003 I.oadout Area Alluvial Water Quality Analyses.
The mean field and laboratory parameter values for each of the last seven years are presented in
Tables 4 and 5 Historic I.oadoutArea Alluvial Water Quality Data. Figure 4, EC vr. TDS-Well AP-1, and
Figure 5, EC vs TDS-We11AP-2, show comparisons of electrical conductance to total dissolved solids
levels over the last seven years.
MU%H * 1475 Pine Grove Rd, Ste. 109, * Steamboat Sprixgg Colorado 80477 * (970) 879-6260
LL":\WTF:n CMesTwnw HrE.
