The Liberty Mine is located in Mesa County and operates under a 110
permit with a permitted acreage of 9.9 acres. This mine does not
have a phased reclamation plan.
In August, 2002, Cotter Corporation completed reclamation of the
Liberty Mine. Anew map is not enclosed, the map submitted in 2002
is still correct.
The sufficiency of the financial warranty for the Liberty Mine has
been reviewed by Cotter Corporation and was found sufficient to
cover the reclamation costs associated with this property.
Enclosed please find a check in the amount of $225.00 as payment
for the annual fee.
