May 15, 1992
To: Cripple Creek Bond Revocation File -M -80 -004 Z,Onp ,
co
From: Jim McArdle
Subject: Site inspection of May 7, 1992
I had an on site meeting with Fad Mills, American Rare Minerals, P O. Box 202,
Victor, Colorado 80860 (812- 882- 3341). We discussed the possibl reclamation
to be done on the old permitted quarry site with the available $0. Fad
indicated that he was going to approach Jack Hull regarding possibly permitting
the site for additional mining. I informed him of our short construction
schedule and the need to keep in contact with us.
I also met with John Rovedo of Pikes Peak and showed John the disturbance and
the new stope openings. John also expressed an interest in getting this site
permitted as he thought that their disseminated ore body might be below the
footprint of the old permitted quarry. He is aware of our desire to reclaim
the site during the Poverty Gulch Project.
Reclamation of this site will have to concentrate on the stope line which was
impacted during past quarry operations. I suggest that an excavator rip the
roof of the stope off and backfill the workings. The length of stope to be
reclaimed is approximately 77 feet. The typical depth of excavation required
to expose the stope workings appears to be 2 feet. This work should proceed
rather rapidly. We may wish to do it on an hourly basis. Remaining money
could be used to reduce the pit wally where possible.
 `1
 y Q/ y0 'r, CAL Vii. — ` _ A-4
n.
/F -PCKficGCt D
gi p .4 ,
08!37 ff /(07 3 r3 -/ 'A'd s
too c..e TE Sr T.e •6v e,y o K 6iareax
Y ,
/
a
V
r4*24-cld -WIV /micas ✓ <. 5
