Bromley Pit, MLR File 79-165 Fed Tax ID # 84-0517799 Anniversary Date: October 25, 1996 Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is October 25, 1997. Please refer to the Annual Report Map for the locations of areas discussed in this report. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The Financial Warranty was is $29, 300 and the permitted area is 14. 20 ± and the pit is not Phased. A sign that conforms with rule 6.7 Signs and Markers is installed at the entrance to the pit. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report requireirents as outlined in Rule 1. 15 of the Rules and Regulations, and in the annual notice letter. (1) A 1.44 ± parcel west of the railroad was tripped and prepared for mining this year. Once that is complete all mining will be done at the mine (orange) . (2) We have been filling the pit with clean fill consisting of concrete, old asphalt and dirt (/////) . The area colored brown has a top cover of dirt over the fill material so once filling is done it can be resoiled. Reclamation has been successful and backfilling will continue until the site is completely filled to the same approximate elevation as the road on the south. The topsoil stockpile has not been disturbed this year. The northern 1. 70 acres ± was resoiled last spring(carmine) with material available offsite and from the small stockpile on the south side. It was seeded last fall and we are monitoring the growth on that area.
