This <br />is not a phased operation but the area needing reclamation at any <br />one time is limited to 50.00 acres t. Construction of a slurry <br />wall around the pit was completed by Denver Water Board and South <br />Adams County Water and Sanitation District in February 2004. Subur- <br />ban Sand and Gravel Co., has continued to mine the site according <br />to the approved plan. <br />The permitted area is 168.41 acres ±, the pit HAS NOT been <br />granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 <br />days this year. A check for $686.00 is attached to cover the <br />annual fee. Please refer to the map attached for the areas dis- <br />cussed in this report. <br />(1) This entire disturbed area has been stripped of topsoil and <br />the topsoil was stockpiled around the site for use in reclama- <br />tion. At the current time we have 126.32 acres ± disturbed in <br />the pit. of the total area disturbed at this time 1.81 acres <br />± is plant site area (cross-hatched, /1!); 112.94 acres ±, is <br />lake area (blue), 1.14 acres is parking area; 1.16 acres is <br />graded, shaped(+++++); 13.38 ± is partially sloped. Mining <br />continued on areas previously disturbed around the lake and we <br />began to mine on 7.98 acres on the east side of the mine and <br />began to remove the divider along the south side of the mine <br />(\\\). Much of this area will be below the water line. The <br />land owners (Denver Water) constructed a slurry wall along the <br />river and Brighton Road this year and disturbed area we previ- <br />ously had ready for seeding. The purple area on the map shows' <br />the area disturbed 11.57 ac.. This area was graded, shaped, <br />resoiled and seeded last spring. In addition, the Highway <br />Department has disturbed 18.55 acres of land along the north- <br />ern side as they construct 120th Ave (purple). This area will <br />be reclaimed by them as part of the construction project. <br />\~ . <br />
