Long <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Long, <br />RE: M-1992-074, Clear Spring Ranch Gravel Pit No. 2 <br />Interoffice Memorandum <br />The Colorado Springs Utilities herein submits the annual report, on your standard form <br />and the attached Mining Plan map for the Clear Spring Ranch Gravel Pit No. 2 in <br />accordance with Rule 1.15 of Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mirted Land <br />Reclamation Board for 112 Permits. All the required information is shown on the <br />attached Mining Plan map. The annual fee of $688.00 is enclosed. <br />During the thirteenth year of operation, 1.45 additional acres have been affected in Phase <br />5. No additional acres have been reclaimed. The total affected area is 22.50 acres, of <br />which about 8.89 acres are currently experiencing some mining activity. Reclamation <br />has occurred in the areas shown on the map. This represents approximateay 3.99 acres, <br />which has been top soiled, fertilized and reseeded.
