Dept. of Natural Resources
Pursuant to your letter requesting annual fees and
notice of intent to continue mining operations, please
find enclosed check for $150 for the past three years
fees, We paid the fee the year we began operating the
gravel pit and the State Highway Department had the permit
the previous year before that, 50 our records indicate
we owe you the sum of $150, If you find this in error
please contact us as to how you arrived a8 the $250 figure
you requested.
As for notice of intent to continue mining, we wish to
continue the gravel mining operations at the same location
and on the same number of acres originally applied for.
The pit is still in operation a.nd no land has been reclaimed.
O~tly a small area of land has been used so far and as this
area must be left open for access to the pit,no reclamation
of land has been done. For the coming year we wish to
continue exactly the same procedure as in the past.
I apologize for the delay in this reply as your letter
way misplaced and shuffled from person to person.
