Ken Coal Company 1991 Aruwa! Nydro(ogy Report 1 10
5.0 LOADOUT AREA ALLUVIAL GROUND WATER
' Two alluvial wells (AP-1, and AP-2) were monitored for water levels on a weekly
basis March through June and monthly during July through September.
' Samples were taken at AP-1 and AP-2 for water quality parameters. The field
data collected are presented in Exhibit 1, 1991 Field Data. Laboratory analyses
' are presented in Exhibit 5, 1991 Loadout Area Alluvial Water Quality. These
data have been summarized in Table 1, 1991 Ground Water Statistics.
1
The mean field parameter values and analyses parameter values for the last six
' years are presented in Table 5, Historic Loadout Area Alluvial Water Quality
Data. Comparison of the values shows an increase in values from 1990 data,
but over the past six years there has been little overall change. There are no
apparent reasons for the 1990 variation other than seasonal and year-to-year
variations in precipitation and runoff which have significant impacts on alluvial
' ground water quality.

1

' ACZ !n[. • P.O.
