Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
In your Letter dated September 13, 2005, you requested an extension for submittal of
remaining responses to the Division's July 29, 2005 Annual Reclamation Report review
letter. You specificically requested an extension of 45 days beyond the September 19
submittal date originally requested by the Division. Given the fact that items 9 and 10 of
the review were resolved in timely fashion, and in consideration of the additional permitting
actions currently active (including TR-50, PR-5, MR-59, and the Permit Renewal), we are
approving your request, and extending the submittal deadline to November 4, 2005.
As a reminder, we hope to be able to issue a proposed renewal decision by mid-October.
The remaining adequacy issue associated with MR-59, and issues related to the renewal
bond increase will need to be resolved before we issue the renewal decision.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincere) -__,~
Dante athews
Environmental Protection Specialist
C: Denver File
