5.2.2 Topsoil Storage <br />Additional topsoil was removed and stockpiled in 1995 from the wells (3) and road <br />associated with cavity #4. An additional 9,519 cubic yards of topsoil was stockpiled for <br />a total of 66,308 cu yds at year end. <br />5.3 Reclamation Activity <br />5.3.1 Seeding <br />Topsoil stockpiles for cavity #4 wells (4-3H, 4A-4V, and 4-2V) were broadcast seeded <br />(double the drilled rate) with seed mixture (BLM/DMG) shown on Table 5-2. A total of <br />approximately .5 acres were seeded in February-March of 1995. Approximately 1500 - <br />2000 lbs./acre of hydromulch per acre was applied. Figure 5-1 illustrates 1995 status <br />• of disturbed, reclaimed areas and planned disturbed areas for 1996. <br />5.3.2 Mulching <br />Areas seeded in February-March 1995 were also hydromulched prior to seed germination <br />in 1995. Areas mulched include: <br />Topsoil stockpile near 4-3H 0.12 <br />Topsoil stockpile near 4A~V (4-1V) 0.15 <br />Topsoil stockpile near 4-2V 0.14 <br />Topsoil stockpile along access road to 4-3H 0_1 <br />Total Project Disturbed Areas Mulched <br />0.51 <br />• 29 <br />
