Page 5
SEP Report for 2003
February 04, 2004
Project Number: CO-0032751
By: Tom Hendricks
High Altitude Seed Mig 35 lbs.
Total Expenditure to Complete Historic Smuggler
Mine Dnmp Reclamation 2003
Total 2003 Cross Mine/Smuggler Mine Reclamation
Total Work completed on project prior to 2003
_$ 115.00
_$ 34,907.01
_$ 54,244.51
~ 45,707.07
Total Amount spent to complete projects through 2003 =$ 99,951.58
Summary:
It has been a great personal goal to achieve completion of the two
reclamation projects over the past several years to full fill the SEP
requirements. The geographic location, elevation, terrain and weather
conditions at +9,200 feet to +9,750 feet made this a challenge. Up until
the summer of 2003 the financial climate was dismal personally which
complicated things. I appreciate the cooperation between the Colorado
Department of Public Health, Carla Lenkey and the contractors
employed to help on the project.
Thoagh the work eapenditare to complete these projects has exceeded
the amount required, I'm dedicated to continue maintenance work on
both projects over the neat several years. It is my goal to continue
additional reclamation and maintenance work in the neighborhood of
$ 2,500 per year for the neat three years at both the Cross Mine and
Smuggler mine historic sites.
